Stefanie Stephens is the choir director at Freeman High School with 19 years experience, both at the middle and high school levels. Her choirs have consistently received sweepstakes awards at U.I.L. Concert & Sight-reading Contests and Best in Class at festivals around the state. In 2014, her Advanced Treble Choir was a Mark of Excellence National Winner for the Foundation of Music Education. Mrs. Stephens is an active adjudicator, clinician, presenter and accompanist throughout the greater Houston area. Mrs. Stephens graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Houston with her Bachelors of Music in 2006. Her professional affiliations include TMEA, TCDA, NAfME, and TMAA. Mrs. Stephens enjoys reading, cooking, sitting by the pool, and playing tabletop games with her family.Â
