We are now open in our new unit in The Galleria (ground floor opposite our old unit). We look forward to seeing you there!
Donations of books are always welcome. You can bring them into our shop anytime we're open, and if you are coming by car there is a free 10 minute drop off point where we can help you unload your books.
We accept all books, maps, sheet music, and magazines. We unfortunately do not accept DVDs/CDs, newspapers, or audiobooks. If in doubt please contact us.
When we're closed (and The Galleria is open) you can drop off books at the customer information desk located in the upper storey.
If you are donating a large quantity of books (more than 80) please email us at least 24 hours beforehand so we can give the volunteers on shift a heads up.
Our books are free, but running our charity isn't.
We are funded entirely through monetary donations from our readers, which can be placed in the donations box within our shop.
At present, we only accept cash donations, but we are looking into options for card donations.
We do not have any other sources of revenue (either from grants, fundraisers, or sales).
These donations cover the costs of our electricity and lighting, insurance, and auditor's fees, among others.
