Donating Books

Donations of books are always welcome, but note that we currently have over 17,000 excess books in our storage room, meaning that we are unable to accept anything over a single box of books per visit (max 40 books) until we can clear some space in our storeroom, as this is currently full to the limit. Please accept our apologies, and check back here or on our socials for updates.

You can bring them into our bookshop anytime we're open, and if you are coming by car there is a 10 minute drop-off point from where we can help you unload your books.

We accept all books, maps, sheet music, and magazines. We unfortunately do not accept DVDs/CDs, newspapers, or audiobooks. If in doubt please contact us.

Financial Donations

Our books are free, but running our charity isn't.

We are funded entirely through monetary donations from our readers, which can be placed in the donations box within our bookshop.

You can also donate to us online at donate.giveasyoulive.com/donate?cid=105876 or via the 'Support Us' button below.

We do not have any other sources of revenue (either from grants, fundraisers, or sales).

These donations cover the costs of our electricity and lighting, insurance, and repairs, among others.
