Correct. There is no solution. I've done the audio wizard through Adobe Connect (the sound comes out of my bluetooth speaker) ... I'm connected to the speaker in the bluetooth system preferences ... and my volume is set to bluetooth speakers in audio preferences ... and the sound STILL comes out of the computer. This is clearly an Adobe / Apple fight that leaves us as the victim.

We had a request to deploy adobe connect, but the installer is a DMG and .app file, has anybody gotten an install method for it? looks like there's a script in the .app package, but I don't see any instructions anywhere on how to do it on the Mac.

I installed adobe connect and configured on a server and I have a domain, It's all connected and working, I can create meetings and every thing, but when I try to get in to a meeting I can't and adobe connect application stuck on connecting. I opened 443,80,1935 ports on server and I tried connecting even with firewall off but I had no luck, what else should I do on server?

Anyone else ever seen the issue where adobe connect just hangs while "connecting"? I've gone to the website. It tells me I don't have the addon installed. I've installed it, but it repeatedly tells me it isn't installed. Any suggestions?

(I don't know that this will really help, but it's what I did, and currrently I'm waiting for the system administrators to respond. I'm using Ubuntu 14.04. I found the connection test failed on my university's Adobe Connect server, but it succeeded on Adobe's test page _test.htm, so I'm hoping the failure was due to some misconfiguration.)

My university's server administrator found this trouble is due to an unresolved bug in Adobe's Flash player; see +source/flashplugin-nonfree/+bug/1064353. I had been using Firefox; he advised me to use the 3rd workaround in the bug report: use Google Chrome on Linux, with its Pepper flash player. I had previously installed the Ubuntu chromium-browser package, and now I installed the Ubuntu package pepperflashplugin-nonfree, which provides this plugin for Chromium. Using Chromium browser, I am now able to connect to Connect server. Since Google now provides a deb package for Chrome, that would probably also work.

I don't use Adobe connect, but here is what I did. I downloaded Adobe connect add-in 8, and I installed on Ubuntu 13.04. I just press Ctrl+Alt+T on the keyboard to open Terminal. When it opened, I navigated to where the file was downloaded, in my case it was the Downloads folder, and I ran the following command:

I am unable to download and install the cloud connect software in any system of my network. I made the dedicated firewall rule in which I allowed all in web and application policy but still the issue retains. I tried to implement LAN to WAN and none in IPS and also I further forwarded the port numbers such as port number 80 and 1935(TCP and UDP both) and implemented these in services section of firewall but didn't get any result. Do we need to make an exception for this particular like we had for teamviewer? Your replies shall highly be solicited.

One of our senior management team has just tried to join a seminar hosted on Adobe Connect, didn't have the fat client installed & couldn't get in by just using the browser, on checking the Adobe KB ( -connect/kb/connect-browser-issues.html Opens a new window ) it turns out that
