The redesigned Desktop and System Dock allows you to do what you want, when you want. With quick and easy pinning, you can access your favourite apps whenever you want. We think you will love it.

The new Menu Screen is now slimmed down, and more intuitive than before. Gone are the navigation and filter bars at the top and sides, replaced with the new one-click search. Just right click anywhere on the screen, and it gives you the ability to search your entire device, along with displaying a better suite of tasks, such as creating application groups.

Also new are application groups. This groups your applications into sections, with options to pin items to the first page. There's also a most used section, which gives you quick access to your favourite programs.

Another new feature is the addition of Legacy mode, which emulates the required parts of an older copy of fOS right in your host machine, which is beneficial in two ways: the application will run better, and if anything goes wrong, it is contained away from your running session of fOS, meaning less of a chance that your computer will crash. Support is also added for older FIR based applications.
