Upgrade to fOS PC 10.15
Upgrading to fOS PC 10.15 is free and simple, and should only take about 10-20 minutes* to download and install. fOS PC 10.15 brings many new and innovative features, such as the new Fusion core and Talis user interface, along with the Speculum theme.
Can I run fOS PC 10.15?
Most likely, your computer will be able to run fOS PC 10.15. Any base FredXQ, FredBook or Fred Ultra model manufactured since 2013 will be able to run fOS PC 10.15 and utilise most features.
Am I ready?
Before updating, be sure to make a backup of your fOS System, just in case the setup fails and you have to revert back to fOS 12. If your computer is running fOS 12.2.8, you can directly update to fOS PC 10.15: if you are running an older version (fOS 9 or newer), download the update from the fOS Store and run the package.
How can I update?
If you are running fOS 12, you can simply update your device the normal way (Settings ➔ Update ➔ fOS Update). Just follow the on-screen instructions which will guide you through the installer.
If you are running fOS 9, fOS 10 or fOS 11, you will need to install fOS PC 10.15 from the fOS Store. Go into the fOS Store, click on Recommended Software, then click fOS PC 10.15 Update. Then, download the package and run it when it is complete. This should open the Installer.
If you are running older software (fOS 8 or older), you must update to at least fOS 9 to allow you to install fOS PC 10.15.
