VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Every Year FIRST® host thousands of events around the globe.   These events are made possible through the support of Event Volunteers who work alongside others who are passionate about the mission of FIRST® to run seasonal events at the local, regional, and even international levels.

VOLUNTEER AT THE BUCKEYE

Here in Cleveland, the Buckeye Regional requires more than 200 event volunteers to make the competition run smoothly.  These volunteers fill such important roles as: Safety Attendants, Field Reset, Judges, Emcees,  Referees, Control System Advisors, Event Managers, Field Supervisors, Technical Advisors, Game Announcers, and more.  Most event volunteer positions require little, or no special skills or expertise. Training is provided along with volunteer shirts and meals during the tournament. 

The Buckeye Regional Planning Committee hopes that your will consider becoming a volunteer for the 25th annual Buckeye Regional.  


As an Event Volunteer you will:


No matter your availability and the level you want to be involved in, there is a role for you, this includes both technical and non-technical roles. Some roles require minimal time commitment with succinct day-of preparation. Other roles require pre-event training and longer participation on event days.
