Central Catholic High School (CCHS) Engineering/Robotics Program is blessed to have the opportunity to participate in FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) and be part of the FIRST community. It is through this program that students' interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) are fostered and developed through robotics competitions and other projects. These competitions offered through FIRST FRC and various team projects undertaken have given us wonderful opportunities to develop leadership, team skills, and give back to our wider community. Students of various backgrounds and skill sets are invited to participate and grow with our team. FIRST promotes "gracious professionalism," where teams compete against each other yet at the same time help each other with problems. Our engineering program fully embraces “gracious professionalism” in our classroom, workshop, practices, and competitions. The CCHS Engineering/Robotics Program provides a place where all students, especially those with an inclination for technology, can thrive. We hope to inspire students to explore various STEM career opportunities.
