A few things to note about us. We are the Iron Fangs. A robotics team who is part of a greater community. We are part of a brotherhood...part of a family centered on faith. As such we work together, we learn together, we pray together, we are a family.
CCHS influences our team as it fosters friendships across all grade levels. It does not matter if you are freshman or a senior, if you have a problem, we are here to support one another. As Iron Fangs, this is fostered in problem solving routinely as we build our robot, and we share ideas of efficiency and design. We know this team will prepare us in our future endeavors. So, we will strive to bring out each other's talents and strengths and support one another with present and future goals. Once an Iron Fang...always an Iron Fang.
Our families are amazing. The support receive from them is immeasurable. In fact, a lot of our mentors are dads who come after work to help us out in the workshop. They offer their time, skill sets, service, and support to all team members. Our family has grown through their guidance. Here on the Iron Fangs, we are a family all working together to achieve our goals
The CCHS Iron Fangs are a community built by faith and guided by it. Our faith gives us hope, perseverance, comradery, and joy which strengthens and carries us as we push through various trials that are presented throughout the season. Our Marianist heritage reminds us to be open to new challenges and to grow. As Blessed William Chaminade once said, "New times, new methods." Our world is ever changing, and we must rise to meet those needs.
“No doubt, faith must be animated by charity. Faith should not only be a light in the mind, but it should be in the heart as well. There must be in faith a disposition of the heart; love of truth. This is why you must savor what you believe.”
