Weber School District is partnered with the German American Partnership Program (GAPP) to offer a unique experience for our German students to participate in a language immersion trip to Germany. Our partner school is the Goethe School in Einbeck, Germany. Students have the opportunity to travel to Germany, stay with a host family, and have the opportunity of a lifetime.

Host a German Student
If you are interested in hosting a student from Einbeck, Germany, please contact Frau Busboom to let her know.
Hosting Requirements and Information:
We need host families that would like to have German in their home! These are students from our partner school, the Goethe School. This school has been coming to Ogden for over 20 years and they are so excited to have been chosen to participate in the exchange. The students are in the 10th-12 grade and have had English for several years.
Host families are expected to feed and house the students and include them as part of their family for the two weeks they are here. Students will attend school with their host sibling. The student does not need to have his/her own room, but s/he does need a separate bed. It needs to be bed and not a pull-out sofa, and needs to be in a room and not a living room/common area.
