Box Tops Committee

Trim, count and prepare General Mills Box Tops to submit by mail for cash back for Jefferson.  

Bottles & Cans Committee

Chair(s):

• Lauren Kloos 

Help collect, count and sort redeemable plastic bottles and aluminum cans, on the Friday of the first full week of the month. Coordinate with the recycling center. Proceeds from this collection are managed in a fund to help reimburse teachers for their classroom related costs and out-of-pocket expenses. 

Community Partners Committee

Coordinate and manage the fundraising relationships with our community partners - Pour Richard's, Altitude, Strive Ninja, Urban Air, Panera, Chateau Italian Kitchen etc.

Community Service Committee

This committee works on various humanitarian needs throughout the year, often with Student Council - coordinates with Franklin Food Pantry, Franklin Police for annual Toy drive, Candy for the Troops, and Clothing Drive, Clothing for Nursing Department, etc.

Educational Enrichment Committee

In conjunction with school administration, organize the Artist in Residence Program,  Brain Show, Cultural Enrichment Assemblies, and our Spring Reading Program.

Family & Student Activities Committee

 This committee will organize opportunities for families to gather for various after school events. Past events have included the Popsicle on the Playground, Ice Cream Social,  Spooky Fall Festival, and Downtown Sports Nights Out, Professional Sports Events. Maybe more? 

5th Grade Celebration Committee 

Chair(s):

Meets throughout the year and works with the fifth grade staff, students, and parents/guardians to organize and raise funds for an end of the year celebration for our graduates.

Jefferson Street Sign and Advertising Signs 

Chair: James Domestico

Ad-hoc updates from Jefferson Administration and Staff as well as the PCC to update messaging throughout the year. They will also place signs to advertise upcoming events in the looper line/parking lot. 

Spring Carnival Committee 

Chair(s): 

Coordinate and organize the Spring Carnival. This is one of the PCC's largest fundraisers and one of the most popular events of the school year.  There are games, food, raffles, Bounce Houses, face paint, Henna, ice cream truck, yard games, music and more.  Many volunteers are needed.  

Square 1 Art Program 

Chair(s):  

This unique program turns your child's artwork into everyday items - mouse pads, coffee mugs, totes and more.  The coordinator organizes and oversees the communications and paperwork required to run the program.  This position also coordinates with the art teacher to ensure that all students work is completed and submitted. 

Teacher and Staff Appreciation Committee

Help recognize our Jefferson staff throughout the year as well as plan/execute the Teacher Appreciation Week program in the spring.  Events to include: welcome back to school teacher luncheon, custodian and lunch staff appreciation, snacks during teacher conferences, etc.

Website/IT Master

Help keep the PCC website and social media up-to-date with the latest happenings.  Coordinate with grade specific pages to post PCC Messages. 

Yearbook Committee

Meets throughout the year to photograph, gather pictures, coordinate 5th grade group playground photo,  proofread and work on design layout for the yearbook.

Jefferwear Committee

Organize, Design, coordinate with company, and help distribute to students.
