Box Tops for Education

Box Tops can be found on hundreds of participating products that you probably buy every day.  Each one is worth $0.10 when our school redeems them through the Box Tops for Education program.  Believe it or not, it adds up quickly!!  This collection happens on the first full week of every month.  Simply send in clipped box tops with your child, in a sealed plastic bag, there will be a basket in the school lobby where students can drop them off as they enter the building in the morning. There is also an opportunity to submit Box Tops online.  Earn Box Tops with Digital Receipts. Download "Box Tops for Education" on your mobile device from the App store, create a profile, select your school, scan your receipts, watch the Jefferson Elementary School earnings add up!

Bottles & Cans 

Jefferson Elementary students, staff, and families have been bringing redeemable bottles and cans in for over 20 years! We've collected well over 1,000,000 bottles and cans. Teachers are reimbursed for classroom spending through this account.  This collection will happen the first full week of every month on Friday. Please note that bottles and cans cannot be brought onto school buses this year. Parent volunteers will be in the car loop each of the designated mornings to collect bags. A special thanks to our volunteers working extra hard to keep this program running this year! We can all help out by noting the following details of the program:

• • If it isn't redeemable for $0.05 in MA, keep it home to recycle

  • Rinse bottles and cans before sending them in, if possible

  • NO GLASS (plastic bottles and aluminum cans only)...and yes, beer cans are accepted without judgment!

  • Please separate plastic bottles from aluminum cans , if possible

  • Please count plastic bottles and aluminum cans, if possible
