The Writing Process
Here are some ideas to encourage the use of inquiry strategies when students are writing.
- During the Pre-write, student create a plan- goal setting- to create their writing product.
- During the draft phase, you can incorporate the Turn & Talk with 2 of their classmates to get more ideas for revisions.
- Turn & Talk can also be used during the editing process.
- Finally, the final copy can be published in a class newsletter, shared aloud, or displayed to celebrate student achievement.
