This is a project I did on Hadestown, for my Scenic Design 2 class. I created a PowerPoint of both practical and conceptual research. To create the physical model, I drafted each piece of the scenery in Vectorworks, and cut them out on a laser cutter out of bristol board. Additionally, I built the columns out of air dry clay. I then hand assembled and painted the model.
This is a project I did on Polaroid Stories, for my Scenic Design class. I created a PowerPoint of both practical and conceptual research. Then a I made a Sketchup model of my design. Then using that model I made two photoshop renderings for different scenes.
Below is my design and model for Nest To Normal. This was my final project for my scenic design 1 class. I wrote a concept statement and did both conceptual and practical research. I then did some initial sketches and drafted a groundplan. I individually drafted each piece for the model and cut it out of Bristol board using a laser cutter. I assembled it using glue.
