How successful was your plan of action at addressing the challenge? Which stakeholders and association practice or program were impacted? How do you know? I was able to identify the issue and gathered a lot of information. Including how staff felt about collaboration. I sorted and compiled the information into charts so the data could be easily scene. I have created a shared document so cross curricular teachers and classroom teachers can line up teaching, so students get multiple repetitions. The entire certified staff have access to the document but I don't believe the program was impacted as no one has used the document.

How were your four chosen competencies used in the implementation of your project? Keeping in mind the competencies was useful in all stages of my project. Knowing I had biases before beginning the project was helpful. Since I was able to learn first, it was easier to keep in mind culture, diversity, and equity. My other competencies; facilitating collaborative relationships. group process and interpersonal effectiveness were also guiding me as I continued speaking to staff and collecting information.

What obstacles, if any, did you encounter? How did you address them? T The biggest obstacle was staff not wanted to have more things to do. After I explained that I was doing the work, I just needed input it went better.

Given the outcomes, describe any changes you might make to the Capstone project’s plan of action? In the beginning my project was too broad. As I narrowed it down, administration focused it more than I would have liked. If I were to begin again I would have a clearer vision from the beginning so I could explain it better to my administrator.
