OUTREACH ACTIVITIES
In August 2024 with Emine Yıldırım and Jonathan Schilhan: we were hosts for an In2STEM program at the University of Leeds for a group of students of Year12. Guide the students for a full week to approach a given combinatorial problem and write down a more formal proof of the results found.
May 2024: together with some colleagues, I took care of the Maths desk at Be Curious (University of Leeds annual family open day). Our activity consisted of a mathematical game: ``following certain rules, choose pieces to eat from a chocolate tablet, but be careful to avoid the poisoned one. Can you find the winning strategy and survive?''
