I am currently a Research Fellow at the University of Leeds, working with Bethany Marsh as part of the EPSRC grant Combinatorial Representation Theory: Algebra and its interfaces with geometry, topology and combinatorics, with PI Karin Baur. Previously, I was a postdoc at the University of Verona, and based at the University of Padova, as part of the REDCOM: Reducing complexity in algebra, logic, combinatorics project with PI Lidia Angeleri Hügel. I completed my PhD at Newcastle University in 2021 under the supervision of Peter Jørgensen, there I was part of the Higher Homological Algebra group.
My main research interests are in representation theory, (higher) homological algebra, cluster theory and their combinatorial and categorical aspects. Nowadays I am also working in presentation of groups (complex reflection and complex braid groups); and building more connections between category theory and representation theory through the study of pretorsion theories.
I am one of the organisers of the Algebra Seminar in Leeds, as well as of CLAN (Clusters and their Applications in the North) network and Flash Talks in Representation Theory (see also the here for more on the upcoming meetings).
I am managing the Leeds Programme Grant website, where you can find a lot of information on what is going on in our group in Leeds.
I am also one of the maintainers of the FDLIST conference page, where you can find information about a lot of scientific events on representation theory of algebras and related topics. If you are organising an event or know about a relevant one, please email me the information and I will add it to the list!
