Frames Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using Frames (formerly
FramePick).
1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By downloading, installing, or using Frames ("the App"), you agree to be bound
by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use
the App. Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement
(EULA) also applies:

2. LICENSE TO USE
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Frames
for personal or commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.
3. FRAMES PLUS
Frames Plus is available as:
- Monthly: billed monthly, auto-renews
- Yearly: billed yearly, auto-renews
- Lifetime: a one-time purchase, no subscription
Frames Plus includes:
- AI Smart Pick (on-device frame analysis)
- Batch exports
- Premium formats (PNG, HEIC, TIFF)
- Full original quality
- No watermarks
- Photo Enhance credits (see section 5)
Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Subscriptions renew automatically
unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings.
4. FREE TRIAL
If a free trial is offered, its length is shown before you subscribe (currently
3 days). You can cancel anytime during the trial without being charged. When
the trial ends, the subscription starts automatically. The trial includes 3
Photo Enhance credits.
5. PHOTO ENHANCE AND CREDITS
Photo Enhance uses online AI services to sharpen photos. Each enhanced photo
uses 1 credit.
Credits come with Frames Plus:
- Monthly and Yearly: 10 credits each month. Plan credits reset every month;
unused plan credits do not carry over, and they end when the subscription
ends.
- Lifetime: 200 credits, which do not expire.
- Free trial: 3 credits.
Frames Plus members can also buy credit packs (15, 40 or 100 credits). Credits
bought in packs do not expire, and stay available if your subscription ends.
About credits:
- If an enhance fails, its credit is returned.
- A photo refused by our content check (see section 7) does not use a credit.
- Credits have no cash value, can't be transferred or exchanged, and are tied
to your purchases on your device's Apple Account.
- Credit packs are consumable purchases and can't be restored after deleting
and reinstalling the App through "Restore Purchases"; your balance is kept
with your purchases (see our Privacy Policy, section 5).
Photo Enhance requires an internet connection and depends on third-party
providers (OpenAI and Topaz Labs). Results are generated by AI: they may alter
or invent fine details and are not guaranteed to be accurate. Don't rely on
enhanced photos as evidence or for identifying people.
6. REFUNDS
All purchases, including subscriptions and credit packs, are processed by
Apple, and refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. Request a refund
at https://reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot process refunds directly. If
Apple refunds a credit pack, those credits may be removed from your balance.
7. ACCEPTABLE USE
You may NOT:
- Reverse engineer or modify the App
- Use the App for illegal purposes
- Process or enhance content you don't have the rights to
- Enhance sexual content involving minors, or any content that is illegal,
abusive, or violates others' rights
- Attempt to breach App or server security, or misuse our enhance service
(for example, automated or excessive requests)
- Distribute or resell the App
Photos submitted for enhancement are checked automatically, and photos that
may contain prohibited content are refused.
8. CONTENT OWNERSHIP
You retain all rights to the videos, frames, and photos you process, and to the
enhanced results. Frames claims no ownership of your content. When you use
Photo Enhance, you allow us and our providers to process that photo only to
enhance it and return the result to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Frames, including its design, code, and features, is owned by RetroConnects
and protected by copyright laws. Our trademarks may not be used without
permission.
10. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We don't guarantee:
- Uninterrupted operation, including availability of Photo Enhance
- Error-free functionality
- Specific export or enhancement quality results
- Compatibility with all video formats
11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
We are not liable for:
- Loss of data or content
- Device damage or data corruption
- Indirect or consequential damages
- Issues from third-party services
Maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid for Frames Plus or credits
in the 12 months before the claim.
12. VIDEO FORMATS
Frames supports common video formats. Some formats may not be compatible
depending on device capabilities and iOS version.
13. DEVICE REQUIREMENTS
Requires:
- iOS 18.6 or later
- iPhone or iPad
- Sufficient storage space for video processing
- An internet connection for Photo Enhance and purchases
14. CHANGES TO SERVICE
We reserve the right to:
- Modify features, pricing, or the number of credits included with plans
- Discontinue the App or features, including Photo Enhance
- Update these Terms
Changes to plans or credits don't affect a subscription period or credits you
have already paid for. You'll be notified of significant changes via the App.
15. SUSPENSION
We may suspend or end your access to Photo Enhance and other online features
if you:
- Violate these Terms
- Abuse the service
- Engage in fraudulent activity
16. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of your jurisdiction and Apple's App
Store Terms and Conditions.

18. SEVERABILITY
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining terms continue in full
effect.
19. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy and Apple's EULA, constitute the
entire agreement between you and RetroConnects regarding Frames.
By using Frames, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to
these Terms of Service.
