The ICA?
The Institute for Climate Action is an organization made up of Franklin Pierce students, faculty, staff, and townspeople from the Monadnock Region who are interested in increasing awareness of climate change and working on solutions that can be implemented at FPU and in the surrounding communities. We meet in person and via zoom in order to make our meetings accessible to everyone.
What's New with the ICA?
Keep an eye out for this year's Earth Week Events!
Professor Cline and his Sustainability Projects class have been building Leopold benches (shown in picture above) for the numerous trails on campus.
The interns have been taking to the trails Sundays @ 10:30 to monitor the trails and encourage students to join us!
ICA Interns at Fridays for Future in Jaffrey, NH
We are continuing with zoom meets for accessibility, but we will also be in-person at the Adventure Rec Lounge by Monadnock Hall.
Recent event from Spring Semester, 2022
