Currently the Education Committee has been working on getting all students at FPU regardless of major to take a course that offers some information about sustainability and climate change. This Spring is our test/initial movement, with several Composition II teachers adding a small assignment on sustainability to their lesson plans. Our hope is that since Composition II is a required course for all students, a larger portion of the course can be focused towards understanding climate change, since many students outside of an Environmental Science/Studies course do not come across the topic.
