Title: Switch it up
Details: 8X10
Artist Statement: My picture relates to the theme “I Will Change the World By..." because it shows the little ways I can help the world by re-using stuff. Like for example, the switch cans from my school can be used as plant pots that is what I did for my picture. This may not change the world that much at all but recycling and reusing items is much better than just throwing them away and letting them go to landfills.

Title: Strawberries
Details: This photo was taken by a phone camera and is an 8 x 10 dimension.
Artist Statement: I chose to take a photo of strawberries because the theme of the contest was how I could change the world. I can change the world by instead of buying strawberries, picking them from locally sourced farms. This changes the world because buying from big companies is just giving the company more money and doesn't benefit anything while buying and/or picking strawberries from a small business gives more money to the small business and benefits it in a good way.

Title: The Key to Consciousness
Details: The dimensions are 2926 by 1945.
Artist Statement: My sunset photo will help me change the world by revealing to others the little things in life that we skip over. If you look outside today, the sunset won't look the same tomorrow. You're witnessing something that will never occur again! In today's society, we're constantly missing these special moments in our rush to keep up with busy schedules. But by taking the time to be aware of our surroundings, we might see something life-changing. I was rushing home when I caught the sunset in my photo. Now, I always stop to observe. I've become a more conscious person.

Title: Controlling COVID
Details: iPhone 11 Camera, 414x896 pt
Artist Statement: By wearing a mask, saliva and other substances found in the mouth are blocked from entering other people's openings into their facial organs, essentially blocking COVID from coming into your circulatory system. I will change the world by spreading awareness of the importance of masks, and this will in turn drastically slice the COVID rates in half. It is statistically proven for masks to help keep germs and large organic molecules out of your facial organs. This picture shows me giving a mask to someone else, as I am changing the world by stopping the spread of COVID.

Title: Stand Up To Stereotypes
Details: Photo is 8x10 inches
Artist Statement: This picture of me represents how I plan to change the world by breaking stereotypes and exceeding people's expectations about me. I will defy incorrect prejudiced ideas about me, which include: "women are weak", "muslims are terrorist", "asians are only good for brains", "teenagers are good for nothing", and other such wrong concepts. I will tear off this gag of stereotypes and allow myself, my actions, and my voice to advocate for minority rights and people of all types held to social norms, and by doing so will make a positive impact on the world.
