Dear Homeowner:
Welcome to Foxhall! This document provides important rules, regulations, and helpful information about living in our community. Please review it carefully and keep it for your records. Compliance with these guidelines helps ensure the safety, appearance, and quality of life of all residents.
Garbage collection takes place on Mondays and Thursdays.
Yard debris is collected on Thursdays.
Recycling, including yellow and blue bins, is collected on Thursdays.
Bulk items, such as washing machines and refrigerators, are collected on Thursdays.
Please note:
Containers must be removed from the curb on the same day as collection.
Containers must be stored out of view from the street at all times, except during permitted collection periods.
Items may not be placed at the curb before 6:00p.m. on the evening before collection.
Parking rules are strictly enforced in Foxhall. A vehicle is considered illegally parked if:
It blocks the sidewalk. The Board permits vehicles parked in a driveway to extend slightly over the edge of the sidewalk. However, if a vehicle forces an individual to walk on the grass or enter the roadway to get around it, the vehicle is considered illegally parked.
It is parked on the roadway overnight. Parking on the roadway during the day is permitted; however, overnight parking on the roadway is prohibited. Because visitors and guests may need to park on the roadway, the Board defines overnight parking as a vehicle parked on the roadway between 1:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m.
It is parked on the grass between a house and the sidewalk. Such a vehicle will be towed at any time, day or night.
It is parked overnight in the pool parking lot without written permission. The pool parking lot is for pool and common-area users only and may not be used for overnight parking.
It is inoperable, has expired tags, and is visible from the roadway.
It is a tractor-trailer, semi trucks, or other large commercial vehicle parked within the Association, unless it is actively being used for a pickup, delivery, roofing project, or other authorized contracting work.
It is double-parked. Double parking occurs when two vehicles are parked parallel to each other on the roadway. Both vehicles may be towed, regardless of which vehicle was parked first.
Any illegally parked vehicle will be subject to towing or booting at the owner’s expense, as well as fines or other legal remedies.
Although not recommended, the Association permits a vehicle to be parked parallel to the sidewalk between the sidewalk and the roadway at the end of a driveway, provided that the vehicle does not block the sidewalk and does not extend more than two feet into the roadway.
Vehicles may be parked in the owner’s driveway as long as they do not block the sidewalk.
Zero-lot-line design: Owners must respect the community’s zero-lot-line design, which means that certain walls or improvements may be located directly on a property line. Owners may not interfere with their neighbors’ property rights concerning these walls and must maintain their own side of such structures.
Architectural rules: Any exterior changes or additions to a home must be approved in writing by the HOA’s Architectural Committee before work begins. This includes changes involving paint colors, structural modifications, landscaping, fences, roofing, solar panels, hurricane windows, garage doors, and other exterior alterations.
Animals: Dogs must be kept on a leash whenever they are outside. Owners are responsible for immediately picking up and properly disposing of pet waste. Nuisance animals or repeated violations may subject the owner to fines.
Trash and garbage: Trash must be stored in containers and may not be left outside except on collection days. Containers must not be visible from the street except during permitted collection periods.
Vehicles: Commercial vehicles, trailers, boats, and recreational vehicles may not be parked in driveways or stored where they are visible from the street, except with prior approval.
The speed limit in the community is 15 mph.
Gate cards and RFID stickers may be ordered from Jilsa using an order form or purchased at the Jilsa office during regular office hours.
You are responsible for damage to the gate caused by you, your guests, your contractors or vendors, or anyone whom you have permitted to enter the property through the front gates.
The minimum fine for knocking off the gate arm or gate arm damage is $500. The fine for significant gate damage is $7,000.
