I teach principles and advanced macroeconomics, principles-level microeconomics, and international economics, along with econometrics, monetary economics, and development economics, among other courses. My teaching draws on data-driven and case-based methods, informed by training through AEA EDUCATE and Harvard Business Publishing Education, and aims to help students connect economic theory to real-world policy questions using current data and applied examples from my own research and consulting work. I have taught in-person and online courses at institutions in the United States and Pakistan, spanning introductory principles through core intermediate theory and specialized upper-level electives.
I mentor students in advanced economic research and applied analytics for public and private-sector clients, and have supervised senior undergraduate theses across a range of applied economics topics.
