FHG Calls for Work:

Eligibility: Open to active Fountain House Gallery members. To be an active member you are required to volunteer for a total of two (2) hours per month for the two (2) consecutive months prior to the submission due date. You also need to be active in your unit. You will not be able to submit to future shows if you have work that needs to be picked up from past submissions! 

Benefit Date: Thursday, November 12, 2026, 6-9pm, Chelsea Industrial   

Call for work: The 2026 Fountain House Benefit: Celebrating Community Innovations. The Gallery & Studio are one of the “innovations” being celebrated during the benefit. We will be displaying 15-20 artworks by Fountain House Artists. These works will be for sale, following the same 60/40% commission split used for Gallery sales. Artists who have work selected will be encouraged to attend the event as ambassadors for the Gallery & Studio programs.  

 

Types of work: We would like artists to submit work that represents innovation – pieces that represent a personal breakthrough or improvement within your style, themes, grasp of materials, etc. We encourage you to look through your personal archive, as well as to consider pieces that are already in the Gallery’s collection. All mediums are welcome. Painting, drawing, photography, sculpture and fiber art, works created digitally by hand, printmaking and video art. Please note that the benefit is a one-night-only event and installation time is limited to a few hours prior to the reception. Please only submit your works digitally. Once selected, we will ask you to bring in the work.
