N. V. Prabhu memorial award for best journalist instilled by Senior journalists union and N.V. Prabhu memorial trust was awarded to Sri. Thomas Jacob, Sr. Journalist, Malayalam Manorama by Honourable justice Sri.Devan Ramachandran on June 16th, 2024.
The function was honoured by the presence of Ex- minister Sri. G. Sudhakaran who delivered N. V. Prabhu memorial oration. Award for the best outgoing student, topper for MBBS from.T. D. Medical College, Alappuzha Dr. Liya Sunny was felicitated.

N.V. Prabhu memorial trust donated sufficient utensils to Seva Bharati, Alappuzha at Thoppil House, yesterday. Seva Bharathi Seva Pramukh Sri Valsan and Treasurer, Sri Madhusoodanan received the same from the trust President, Sri. Ramachandra Prabhu and Secretary, Sri Girish Prabhu. The prominent people representing Seva Bharathi fondly remembered the great man Sri. N. V. Prabhu, founder of T.D. Medical college, Alappuzha, a great philanthropist. Minister of Agriculture, Sri. P. Prasad handed over the ICU ventilation unit sponsored by N. V. Prabhu memorial trust in collaboration with Rotary club of Alleppey Coir City (Rotary International district 3211), at T.D. Medical College hospital, Alappuzha donated in memory of the Founder, T. D. M. C., on August 11th. Here are a few glimpses of the function, comprising elite members of Rotary club, Principal, Superintendent and staff of T. D.M.C and Sri. N.V. P's sons, V. Ramachandran and V. Girishan.
The trust has constituted cash award and certificate of merit for the best outgoing student of MSc Biotechnology who scores the maximum marks from Arts College in the name of Founder, T. D. Medical College, Alappuzha, Late. Sri. N. V. Prabhu.
