BECOME A FOUNDATIONS FYI VOLUNTEER

Volunteering with Foundations FYI is about more than completing a task. It is about showing up, listening well, building trust, and helping people connect with practical support.

Volunteers may help with community outreach, food and hygiene distribution, resource navigation, events, Sailing FYI, Harbor FYI, donation pickup and delivery, technology, media, transportation, and the continued development of our Mobile Care Unit.

Some opportunities involve serving individuals and families experiencing homelessness, hardship, recovery, or crisis. We ask every volunteer to treat people with dignity, compassion, patience, respect, and good judgment.

You do not need to have all the answers or a perfect background. You simply need a willingness to serve responsibly and care about the people in our community.
