This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile application Bamboo Blocks ("the App", "we", "our") handles information. The App is developed and published by FORTICO ("the Developer").
By installing or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Summary
Bamboo Blocks does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data.
The App works entirely offline. It has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no network connection of any kind. Nothing you do in the App leaves your device.
Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect any of the following:
- Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any contact details
- Device identifiers, advertising IDs, or IP addresses
- Location data of any kind
- Photos, contacts, files, microphone or camera access
- Usage analytics, crash reports, or behavioural data
- Any information that could identify you personally
The App requests no Android permissions whatsoever.
Information Stored on Your Device
The App saves a small amount of data locally on your device so that your progress is not lost between sessions. This information is stored using your device's local browser storage and never leaves your device. It includes:
- A nickname you choose (optional, entered by you)
- A chosen avatar colour
- Your best scores and daily, weekly, and monthly records
- Number of games played, lines cleared, and best combo
- Your daily challenge history and consecutive-day streak
- Sound and gameplay settings
- The state of a game in progress, so it can be resumed
We have no access to this data. It is not sent to us or to anyone else, and no server receives it.
Deleting Your Data
You can erase all locally stored data at any time by either:
1. Tapping "not you?" on the App's start screen and confirming, or
2. Uninstalling the App, or clearing the App's storage in your device settings (Settings → Apps → Bamboo Blocks → Storage → Clear data)
Deletion is immediate and permanent. Because no copy exists outside your device, no further action is required to remove your information.
Children's Privacy
The App is suitable for all ages and contains no content unsuitable for children. Because we collect no data at all, we do not knowingly or unknowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). The App complies with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) by collecting nothing.
Third-Party Services
The current version of the App contains no third-party services, including no advertising networks, no analytics providers, and no social media integrations.
If a future version introduces advertising or other third-party services, this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the updated policy will describe what those services collect.
Data Security
Because no data is transmitted or stored on any server, there is no risk of a data breach involving your information through the App. Data saved locally is protected by your device's own security, in the same way as other app data on your device.
Your Rights
Under GDPR, CCPA, and similar privacy laws, you have rights to access, correct, delete, and port your personal data. As the App collects no personal data, there is nothing for us to provide, correct, or delete on your behalf. All data lives on your device and is fully under your control.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this URL with a revised "Last updated" date. Material changes affecting how information is handled will be reflected in the App's store listing before the affected version is released.
