Terms of Use – Bamboo Blocks (FORTICO)

Welcome to Bamboo Blocks, a game by FORTICO. By playing the game you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy (https://sites.google.com/view/fortico-privacy). Questions: Forticokg@gmail.com

A. Using the game

- Bamboo Blocks is free to play. Some optional items can be bought (see "Purchases" below), and the game shows ads (a banner and reward videos you choose to watch).

- Play fairly: do not cheat, hack, change the game's files or saves, or use tools that give you items you did not earn or buy. If you do, we may remove those items.

- We keep improving the game: levels, items, prices, events and features may change, be added or be removed. We try to keep the game working well, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors.

- The game, its art, music and code belong to FORTICO. You may play it for your own personal use; you may not copy, sell or reuse them.

- The game is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, FORTICO is not responsible for indirect losses from using the game. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the law of your country.

- If you do not agree with these terms, please do not play the game.

PURCHASES

These terms cover what you can buy inside Bamboo Blocks and how it works. All payments are made through Google Play and follow Google Play's own Terms of Service and refund policy.

1. What you can buy

- VIP Pass (monthly subscription): rewards without watching videos (the same daily limits apply), 200 coins and 1 booster every day you open the game, no banner ads, and a golden VIP badge. VIP includes everything in Remove Banner Ads.

- Remove Banner Ads (one-time purchase): removes the banner ad, forever on your Google account. Reward videos are NOT removed: they stay as an optional choice (you decide when to watch one for a reward). (If full-screen ads are ever added to the game, Remove Banner Ads buyers will not see them either.)

- Starter Pack (one-time, once per account): 1,000 coins, 3 hammers, 3 shuffles, 3 undos and 1 Bamboo Firecracker.

- Coin packs and the Booster Pack (5 hammers, 5 shuffles, 5 undos and 2 Bamboo Firecrackers): coins or boosters added to your game right away. They can be bought again.

Prices are shown in the game in your local currency, as Google Play sets them, and may include tax.

2. VIP subscription

- VIP renews automatically every month at the price shown, until you cancel.

- Cancel anytime in Google Play: Play Store app > profile picture > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions > Bamboo Blocks. After you cancel, VIP stays active until the end of the month you paid for.

- If a renewal payment fails, Google Play may give you a few days to fix your payment method; VIP can stop if the payment is not fixed.

- There is no free trial.

3. Internet and offline play

- Buying and restoring purchases needs the internet and Google Play.

- Coins, boosters, Remove Banner Ads and VIP keep working offline. VIP is checked with Google Play when you are online; if the game cannot check for longer than about one week after your paid month, VIP pauses until you go online again (nothing is lost).

4. Restore purchases

Your Remove Banner Ads, Starter Pack and VIP are linked to your Google account. On a new phone or after reinstalling, sign in to the same Google account in the Play Store and tap "Restore purchases" in the shop.

Coins and boosters are part of your game progress. If you are signed in to Google Play Games, your progress (with your coins and boosters) is saved in the cloud and offered back when you install the game again on the same Google account. Without Google Play Games they are kept only on your phone and are lost if you uninstall the game or clear its data. When the game finds both a cloud save and a save on your phone and you choose one, coin and booster packs you bought in the other save are added too, so bought packs are not lost.

We cannot bring back coins, boosters or progress that are lost because the game was uninstalled or its data was cleared without cloud save, because the phone was lost or reset, or because you chose to replace a save. To keep them safe, sign in to Google Play Games (Profile page in the game). This does not change your rights to a refund from Google Play for a purchase that did not work. 

5. Refunds

Refunds are handled by Google Play under its refund policy: https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/2479637

If a purchase is refunded, the item is removed from the game (for VIP and Remove Banner Ads, the next time the game is online).

6. Virtual items

Coins, boosters and other items have no real-money value, cannot be exchanged for money, and can only be used inside Bamboo Blocks. We may change the game and its items, but we will not take away what you have bought.

7. Problems

If something you paid for did not arrive, first open the game with the internet on and tap "Restore purchases". If that does not help, email Forticokg@gmail.com with your Google Play order number (it starts with GPA.).

8. Changes

If these terms change, we will update this page and the date at the top.
