Public Philosophy

Because of how important philosophy is to me, I have a special interest in finding ways to communicate philosophy to the public. To this end, I have organized and participated in three panels about philosophy in comic books and pop culture at the Phoenix Comic Convention. The panels discussed topics such as philosophy of mind, free will, moral responsibility, nihilism, and absurdism by using examples from comic books and pop culture as thought experiments and ways of thinking about traditional philosophical problems and questions.
