Think About:
Who is Fergus and why is he in this new town?
What are his first impressions of the town?
Who are Anna and Bernard? What are they like? How do they relate to Fergus?
The significance of all the dolls and toys. What about the automaton toy that Bernard made?
Who is Barbara? How do she and Fergus relate to each other?
