Symbolism
The bright pink stands for the Abstraction itself as an entity and its strength and intensity. It also stands for chaos, activeness, and awareness. For Deerlings thinking for themselves and knowing more of the truth.
The blue stands for acceptance and integration. For the Abstraction settling into flora and fauna. But also for calm and accepting personal truth.
The Green stands for ignorance, secrets, and for the nature that surrounds the Deerlings in the forests of Waru. It symbolizes the land of Waru containing its secrets and
The Lighthomians wear the colours green and blue, which symbolizes them living in blissful ignorance and accepting what they believe as their personal truth. The are afraid of everything pink, seeing it as the colour of corruption and evil.
The colourchanging symbolizes the Abstraction having no use for the Deerling anymore, not feeding of them any longer. This leaves them with awareness of the truth, but still forever marked by the Abstraction. The Activated abstraction will never dissapear once its settles.
The Shawl
From the moment the Deerling god wakes up in the Grey Canopy, they wear a shawl with blue green patterns. These are the colours of the city of Lighthome, which most Deerlings easily recognize.
It's what what guides him there on his journey later.
The shawl itself is made of the flora grown in the center field or the world. It is interlaced with abstraction and the Gods connection to their divinity. They can feel from the very start that its an important possession of them, even before they remember they were once a God.
This symbolizes the Abstraction not being activated yet, the Deerling god living without true awareness.
The blue stands for them having accepted their current situation with their memory loss and strong urge to find out how to break the wall as their truth, but unaware of so much more that they once knew. This unawareness is symbolized by the absence of pink.
Once they regain their knowledge of being a God and regaining their true form, the blanket is integrated into their clothing and regained pink colouring.
