The FHNA welcomes participation from all our members and neighbors! In addition to posting signs at key road intersections and mailing announcements in advance of public meetings, we facilitate neighborhood communication via a few forums:Â
Emails to board members: All FHNA board members can be reached directly by emailing fhnaboardmembers@googlegroups.com and our individual contact information is listed below. Contact information for all Lake Oswego neighborhood association leaders is available via the Lake Oswego City site here.
Emails to neighbors: The FHNA board shares updates via email to those who sign up for the neighborhood Google Group (click here to view the group and here for instructions on how to join).
Social media: Contribute to neighborhood discussions via Facebook group (click here) and Nextdoor (click here).
Nine positions on the Board of Directors will be open for election, including the following officer positions; Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson, and Secretary-Treasurer. All terms of office for the Board of Directors shall be for one year; however, the Board Members may continue to serve until a successor is elected or appointed.
Per Article III of the FHNA Bylaws, a member must be:
A resident of the recognized area, who is eighteen years of age or older; or
A property owner within the recognized area,
A designated representative of a business, corporation, or trust within the recognized area.
A designated representative of a nonprofit organization within the area, or
A designated representatives of each public school within the recognized area (Only one representative is allowed per nonprofit organization, public school, or business)
