Regular presentations (Oral) will be for 15 mins.

OSI Best Thesis Awards

OSI has instituted Best Thesis Awards. Up to three best Ph.D. thesis awards will be given each carrying a Certificate and cash prize of Rs. 5000. For this Symposium, all those who have defended their thesis during July 1, 2020 and June 30, 2021 can apply for the award by submitting a 2-page summary and a list of publication arising out of the thesis work. The format used should be the same as that for the paper submission. An endorsement letter by the supervisor must also be submitted. These must be sent directly to the Chairs (iitdphotonics@gmail.com) by August 25, 2021. All entries will be judged by a panel and selected entries will be required to make presentation in a designated session at the Symposium. Finally, best theses will be selected on the basis of the quality of the thesis and the presentation made
