Neymar began his senior club career at Brazilian club Santos FC, where his prodigious talent emerged. Over his time there, he made well over a hundred appearances and scored more than 50 goals, establishing himself as one of Brazil’s most promising young forwards.
In 2013 he made a high-profile transfer to Spanish giants FC Barcelona, where he continued his impressive form. During his time in Barcelona, he racked up more than 100 goals in all competitions and numerous assists, helping the club to major honours including the UEFA Champions League.
In 2017, Neymar moved to French powerhouse Paris Saint‑Germain for a record transfer fee. There, he scored over 100 goals and provided a large number of assists across domestic league, cup competitions and European matches, becoming one of the most influential players in Ligue 1.
More recently, Neymar joined Saudi club Al‑Hilal SFC, although his playing time was limited due to injury. He appeared relatively few times for the club before his departure.
