Mr. Chamika Bandara is a qualified Digital communication and Electronic Engineer who graduated from the University of Hertfordshire, Hatfield, United Kingdom with a first-class Honours Degree. He completed the Post Graduate Diploma in Telecommunications Engineering which is awarded by the Engineering Council (UK) and City & Guilds covering Telecommunication Systems Engineering, Power Electronics, Data communication, Internet technologies and Digital system designs modules. At the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka, he successfully completed the MSc in Information Security. He is currently working as a ELV consultant at Aknit consultants and Lecturer/ Consultant (IOT) at NIBM. As a Lecturer/ Consultant (IOT), he has conducted workshops and Hackathons such as NIBM Vishwa Paasala - IOT Boot Camp & Hackathon. Considering the on going projects, Chamika is working as The Team Leader/Consultant of Integrated Thermal Emanation Detection (iTED) project at NIBM which is patent applied. It has been recognized and awarded by the Sri Lanka Inventors Commission, United Nations Development Program and featured in Sanwadaya program (ITN) and Innovation Outlook program (CITY FM). As for his previous experience, he was involved in Integrate Building Management System planning, designing and implementation at Defense headquarters complex at Akuregoda, Network Engineer at Central Engineering Consultancy Bureau (CECB), Engineer ELV at Grand Hyatt Hotel project Colombo (GHC) by Canwill Holdings (PVT) LTD.

We provide Robotics courses created by Genius Bit Institute and those courses will be conducted under Chamika's supervision. Chamika has gained knowledge from abroad and has experience as a lecturer/consultant at reputed higher education institutions and private companies. He is able to pass this on accurately and successfully to students studying Robotics at Focus Academy International.
