FI(S) Additional TMG Privileges

Subject to a course and a Demonstration of Competence (DoC), instructors holding an FI(S)  can add an endorsement to their SPL to enable them to instruct glider pilots such that they can add a TMG extension to their SPL.  

LGC is authorised to conduct FI TMG Training under BGA DTO.

Instructors must have 30 Hrs PIC in TMG prior to starting the course. SFCL 315 refers

Following successful competition of the course and a DoC, instructors are "restricted" (i.e. cannot authorise solo flights) until they have acquired 15 hours of instructional practice.
