Lego Build instructions of our robot
Helpful Add-ons
Our second run involves line following. If the robot is not lined up correctly at the start of the run, the line follow tends to get off course. The correct starting position is for the rear left corner of the robot to be two squares from the left of the mat and one square away from the wall. This allows for the right color sensor to be be in the middle of the black line to start the line follow code. Also, the before starting the run, ensure that the worm drive is slightly engaged. This enables the fork lift to rise to the correct position when switching the generator. If the worm drive is too far down, the fork lift may not be at an angle above the green cargo plane. If the tine on fork lift is not high enough the tine will hit the top of the green cargo plane and the robot will not be able to recover the run.
