Accreditation of Barangay-Based Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) / Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) in the Barangay-Based Institutions

Republic Act No. 7160, otherwise known as the Local Government Code of 1991, provides for the mechanisms to engage the participation of the Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) or Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) to become active partners in local governance, including accrediation and representation of these organizations in the BBIs.
