Dr. Fleet and Dr. Serra Ucer Ozgurel attended the American Society for Bone and Mineral Research meeting in Toronto Canada. Dr. Ucer Ozgurel presented a poster there that was well recieved.

April 2024: We published a paper in the Journal of Bone and Mineral Research.” Male Lrp5A214V Mice Maintain High Bone Mass During Dietary Calcium Restriction by Altering the Vitamin D Endocrine System”
April 2024: We received the competitive renewal for our NIH grant. It’s a collaboration between my lab and collaborators at Rutgers University “Nutrigenomics of intestinal vitamin D action”. We’ll be studying how aging affects the intestinal response to vitamin D.
