FLAIR Student of the Year

Please note: 

Each school may choose a language student of the year and recognize that student at that school.  

Each school may then nominate their student of the year for the FLAIR overall student of the year for the region.  The FLAIR overall student of the year is decided by a FLAIR committee and awarded by the organization. 

FLAIR Student of the Year (SOTY)

All language teachers at each school (not just the department head) may select only one student to be their school’s outstanding language student, recognized as the Student of the Year (SOTY).

*All students selected by their schools as the SOTY should be recognized at the FLAIR honor society initiation, held by each school.

*The SOTY from each school will receive a certificate.

*The SOTY recipients at each school may be nominated for the FLAIR Student of the Year (FLAIR SOTY) and one of them will receive the overall FLAIR SOTY award, which

 is a plaque.

Requirements:

*The student selected must be a member of the FLAIR Honor Society or be initiated at the FLAIR induction.

*The teacher must submit the Student of the Year nomination form by the deadline so the student will be entered for consideration for the overall FLAIR Student of the Year.

DEADLINE: March 1

be considered confidential. FLAIR will carefully review the information given below in evaluating the student recommended.
