National Museum of Natural History
National Museum of Natural History
One of the most memorable experiences during my SEA Teacher Batch 10 program at Adamson University was visiting the National Museum of Natural History in Manila. From the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by its grand architecture and fascinating natural collections. ✨
Seeing the skeleton of Lolong 🐊, the largest saltwater crocodile ever recorded, made me realize how incredible nature truly is. Walking through different galleries, I learned so much about wildlife 🦜, ecosystems 🌎, and how everything in nature is interconnected. But what made this visit even more special wasn’t just the exhibits—it was the time spent with friends. 💛 Laughing 😆, taking pictures 📸, and sharing thoughts 🗣️ made the experience even more meaningful.
As I walked out of the museum, I felt a mix of gratitude and nostalgia. 💭 This journey was not just about exploring natural history, but also about appreciating every moment I spent in Manila. Thank you for the unforgettable memories!💖✨
National Museum of Anthropology
Visiting the National Museum of Anthropology in Manila was one of the most memorable experiences during my SEA Teacher Batch 10 program at Adamson University. Walking through ancient artifacts, traditional textiles, and the replica of the balangay boat deepened my appreciation for the rich cultural heritage of the Philippines. 🌏✨
More than just observing historical objects, this journey taught me how culture shapes a nation’s identity. Together with my fellow SEA Teacher participants, we shared stories, discovered similarities between Filipino and Indonesian culture, and laughed while trying to understand some Tagalog words. 😄📖
By the end of the visit, I realized that this experience wasn’t just about learning history—it was about appreciating diversity and seeing how culture serves as a bridge that connects us all. 🤝💙
Tagaytay and Skyranch
Our trip to Tagaytay and Skyranch with SEA Teacher Batch 10 was one of the most unforgettable moments in the Philippines. From the start, we were all excited, and when we arrived, the cool breeze and breathtaking view of Taal Volcano instantly amazed me. I stood there for a moment, taking it all in, feeling so grateful to experience this. 🌄💙
At Skyranch, the fun continued! We tried different rides, laughed together, and captured so many memories through photos. One of the most special moments was riding the Sky Eye. Seeing the world from above made me realize how big life is, but what truly matters is the people we share it with. 🎡💫
Between the fun, there were also heartfelt moments—sharing food, joking around, and talking about our dreams. On the way back to Manila, I felt a little emotional knowing my time in the Philippines was coming to an end. But these memories will stay with me forever, not just because of the beautiful places but because of the amazing people who made this journey so special. 💖
Intramuros
Intramuros, Manila’s historic walled city. Walking along its cobblestone streets, surrounded by colonial-era buildings, I felt as if I had stepped into the past. Visiting Fort Santiago was especially moving. Seeing José Rizal’s final footsteps before his execution gave me chills—it was a powerful reminder that education isn’t just about teaching in a classroom, but also about understanding history, struggles, and the values that shape a nation.
Throughout the trip, I had meaningful conversations with my friends from Adamson, learning about their perspectives on Filipino history and culture. As the sun set, we sat near San Agustin Church, sharing laughter and reflections. In that moment, I realized this experience was more than just a tour—it was a lesson in life. 💙
Leaving Intramuros, my heart was full of gratitude. The Philippines is no longer just a place I visited—it’s a part of my journey that I will always cherish.
Foundation Week
Foundation Week at Adamson University was one of the most memorable moments during my SEA Teacher Batch 10 journey. The campus was full of energy—parades, performances, and various competitions made the atmosphere even more exciting. 🎉🏫
Amid all the fun, there was one simple moment that truly touched my heart. While sitting with some Adamson students, they told me, "You are now part of our family." 💖 Those words made me realize that this experience wasn’t just about teaching and learning but also about finding a new family far from home.
Now that Foundation Week has ended, and my time here is coming to a close, I can’t help but feel emotional. 😢 Leaving all these wonderful memories behind is hard, but I am beyond grateful to have been part of Adamson University, even for a short time.
Taste of The World
One of the most memorable moments during the SEA Teacher program at Adamson University was participating in Taste of the World. This event was not just about tasting food from different countries but also about sharing cultures and stories. This simple yet meaningful moment made me realize that food can be a bridge that connects differences. We may come from different backgrounds, but at the dining table, we are all connected.
Thank you, Adamson University, for this beautiful experience. I will always carry these memories back home to Indonesia. 💙✨
Volleyball Match
As a SEA Teacher Batch 10 student at Adamson University, Manila, Philippines, I had the chance to watch a volleyball match at Mall of Asia Arena. At first, I thought it would be just a regular game, but it turned out to be so much more.
The energy from the crowd, the passionate cheers, and the shared excitement created an unforgettable atmosphere. Even though I came from a different country, I felt welcomed and connected through the spirit of sportsmanship.
This simple moment taught me that happiness can come from little things—cheers of victory, smiles from strangers, and the positive energy all around. This experience will always hold a special place in my heart. ❤🏆
Mall of Asia
As a SEA Teacher Batch 10 student at Adamson University, Manila, the experiences I’ve gained have been truly priceless. One of the most unforgettable moments was our visit to Mall of Asia (MOA), one of the largest shopping malls in the world.
That day, my friends and I enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere of Manila. MOA was not just a shopping center; it was a place where we shared joy and laughter. We walked around, explored different stores, tried delicious Filipino food, and immersed ourselves in the lively crowd.
But what touched me the most was a simple yet meaningful moment. As we sat together after exploring, chatting and laughing, I realized how lucky I was to be part of this journey. Even though we were far from home, we had each other—friends who felt like family. ❤ We shared stories, laughter, and even a bit of homesickness, making the bond even stronger.
