Image Settings

To display a custom image as your background, set "Background Image" to "On" from the "Settings" menu.

With "Background Image On", two new menus options will appear.

"Change Image" allows you to select your own image from your Photos Library, scale the image to fit the screen, or rotate the image as needed.

"Adjust Image Color" lets you quickly adjust the color tint, brightness, contrast, or  saturation of your custom image without leaving the app.

Tap the "Change Image" button from the "Settings" menu, which will take you to the "Image Settings" menu.

In the "Image Settings" menu, click the "Tap to change Image" button to select an image from your Photos Library. All changes in the Image Settings menu, including the Image Scale options and the Image Rotation options will be reflected in the Image Settings menu as well as within the app.

In the "Image Settings" menu, use the "Image Scale" options to fit your image to the screen and "Image Rotation" to rotate your custom image as needed.

Click the back arrow once you are happy with your image.

Tap the "Adjust Image Color" button from the "Settings" menu, which will take you to the "Image Color" menu.

Toggle on any of the Image Color adjustments to make changes to the Color, Brightness, Contrast, or Saturation of your image.

All adjustments are shown live in the app.

Toggle the settings back to off to disable any adjustments no longer needed.

Click the back arrow once you are done adjusting the color of your image.

Tracking Marker Settings

Tracking markers are a great way to add reference points for VFX when tracking the movement and position of the screen. Check with your VFX Supervisor or the Post Production Supervisor for the show you are working on to see if they would prefer to have tracking markers, what size and shape they would like and if they would like specific colors for the tracking markers. This usually varies greatly, depending on who is going to be working on the screen replacement in post.

To enable tracking markers, set "Tracking Markers" to "On" from the "Settings" menu.

With "Tracking Markers On", a "Tracking Marker Settings" button will be available.

In the "Tracking Markers" menu you can adjust the tracking marker count, shape, style, size, offset distance, and color.

When using the "Normal" tracking marker style, only the "Tracking Marker Color 1" will effect the color of the tracking markers. "Outline" or "Fill" styles have the ability to use two colors if needed.

Grid Settings

A great option for capturing reference for an actor's swipe or scroll actions is an interactive grid that sits beneath the tracking markers so that it doesn't interfere with tracking the screen and and is slightly transparent so that it doesn't interfere with keying the background.

To enable the interactive grid, set "Grid" to "On" from the "Settings" menu.

With "Grid On", a "Grid Settings" button will be available.

In the "Grid Settings" menu you can adjust the amount of vertical and horizontal lines in the grid as well as the overall width of the lines.

Use the Grid Color to choose any custom color for the lines as well as the opacity of the lines.

If needed, you can disable scrolling entirely by toggling the "Scrolling Enabled" button to off.

Use "Vertical" scrolling to enable up and down scrolling, and "Horizontal" scrolling for side-to-side scrolling (swiping).
