What We Believe

About God.....

There is one and only one true and living God. He is an intelligent, spiritual, and personal being, the Creator, Redeemer, Preserver, and Ruler of the universe. The eternal God reveals Himself to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

About Jesus.....

Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. In His substitutionary death on the cross He made provision for the redemption of men from sin. He is now exalted at the right hand of God. He will return in power and glory to judge the world and to consummate His redemptive mission.

About the Bible.....

The Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired and is God’s revelation of Himself to man.

About Man.....

As soon as man becomes capable of moral action, he becomes a transgressor against God and is under condemnation.

About Salvation.....

Salvation involves the redemption of man, and is offered freely to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

About the New Testament....

A New Testament Church of the Lord Jesus Christ is an autonomous local congregation of baptized believers, associated by covenant in faith and fellowship of the gospel, seeking to extend the gospel to the ends of the earth.

About Baptism.....

Christian baptism is the immersion of a believer in water. It is an act of obedience symbolizing the believer’s faith in a crucified, buried, and risen Savior, the believer’s death to sin, the burial of the old life, and the resurrection to walk in newness of life. It is a testimony to a person’s faith in the final resurrection of the dead.
