Hello everyone.. we are so pleased to have you joining us in our first online worship experience. We know these are tough times for each of us, and not meeting and seeing our church family is difficult but necessary. As you navigate today’s worship experience at your own pace, with your family, in your homes and places.. We invite you to focus on God’s blessings for your life.. Today's worship experience is new, and sure to have many hiccups. Please be patient with our worship, tech, and publicity teams as we seek and serve to use this channel effectively. INVOCATION

Dear Heavenly Father, We come together before this morning to honor you and seek your blessing and guidance upon our lives. Our view of your world is stressed right now, and not meeting and seeing our church family in person is difficult but necessary. We recognize that you are above all and in all things. As we navigate today’s worship experience in our homes and places, we ask for your blessing and presence. We seek you and we trust you and we know that your teachings in the Book of Romans are powerful reminders of who we are and whose we are.

NIV Romans 8: 18-19 I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed. 28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who[i] have been called according to his purpose. 37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[k] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells. God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day.

Nations are in uproar, kingdoms fall; he lifts his voice, the earth melts. The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Come and see what the Lord has done, the desolations he has brought on the earth. He makes wars cease to the ends of the earth. He breaks the bow and shatters the spear; he burns the shields with fire.

He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”

The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. -- Psalm 46 NIV

Focus on Christ

So if you’re serious about living this new resurrection life with Christ, act like it. Pursue the things over which Christ presides. Don’t shuffle along, eyes to the ground, absorbed with the things right in front of you. Look up, and be alert to what is going on around Christ—that’s where the action is. See things from his perspective. Your old life is dead. Your new life, which is your real life—even though invisible to spectators—is with Christ in God. Jeremiah 18 New International Version (NIV) At the Potter’s House

18 This is the word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord: 2 “Go down to the potter’s house, and there I will give you my message.” 3 So I went down to the potter’s house, and I saw him working at the wheel. 4 But the pot he was shaping from the clay was marred in his hands; so the potter formed it into another pot, shaping it as seemed best to him. 5 Then the word of the Lord came to me. 6 He said, “Can I not do with you, Israel, as this potter does?” declares the Lord. “Like clay in the hand of the potter, so are you in my hand, Israel.

We are directed to give cheerly and freely of our blessings . We offer up tithe to support the ministries of First Baptist Church Ridgeway within your blessing and your plan.

Jeremiah 29: 11-13 NIV For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

Praise God from whom all blessing flow. Praise Him all creatures here below. Praise him above ye heavenly host. Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. AMEN!
