But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have firmly believed, knowing from whom you learned it and how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.
This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.
“You shall therefore lay up these words of mine in your heart and in your soul, and you shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall teach them to your children, talking of them when you are sitting in your house, and when you are walking by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates, that your days and the days of your children may be multiplied in the land that the Lord swore to your fathers to give them, as long as the heavens are above the earth. For if you will be careful to do all this commandment that I command you to do, loving the Lord your God, walking in all his ways.
Due to the failure of the modern Christianized church and poor Christian parenting, most professing Christians do not know that much Holy Scripture and don't even know how to start studying Holy Scripture (which is the duty of the church and parents).
A "Micro-study" is a method of studying the Bible in a simplistic manner that is less time consuming and burdensome for the layman.
It is where 1 verse is analyzed at each study sitting, in it's original context, in it's original historical and cultural contextual setting, with the understanding of what is originally meant in the verse. To discover, comprehend, understand, and comprehend Apostolic Doctrines in a reliable and efficient manner.
Example: John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." This single verse would be broken down and each key word, idea, concept analyzed, researched, and cross-referenced for absolute clarity and comprehension of truth. Asking who, what, when, where, why, and how to dive deep in a short amount of time.
This reduces pre-study prep time when individuals study the verse before coming together to discuss it's meaning, teaching, and truth.
This reduces the Study time itself when the group comes together to analyze 15-20 words, only 1 or 2 sentences.
This increases the depth of the study where key words are focused in objective context on so that a more rounded understanding can be achieved.
The quality of study is increased, but the quantity of Scripture is reduced so that important truths are not missed or overlooked. Takes longer to go through an entire book, but when complete, the entire book is far more known and understood than ever before.
Estimated Time;
Only takes about 10 minutes of Pre-study prep.
Read over the verse, jot down any notes, ideas, or questions
The Micro-study should take around 20 to 45 minutes.
In all, the total time to prepare and conduct the study should take less than an hour (depending on the subject and questions).
