My mission is to KNOW doctrine that was taught by the Prophets, Jesus, and his Apostles and to expose doctrines that are not.
Christians are commanded to TEST EVERYTHING (against Holy Scripture)
1 Thessalonians 5:20-21 "Do not despise prophecies [proclaiming God's word], but test everything; hold fast what is good."
1 John 4:1 "Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world."
2 Timothy 3:16 "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for instruction, for conviction, for correction, and for training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be complete, fully equipped for every good work. "
Guard and protect Apostolic Doctrine:
1 Timothy 6:20 "Timothy, protect what has been entrusted to you, avoiding worldly, empty chatter and the opposing arguments of what is falsely called 'knowledge' "
2 Peter 3:17 "You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, take care that you are not carried away with the error of lawless people and lose your own stability."
Jude 3:3 Dear friends, although I was eager to write you about the salvation we share, I found it necessary to write and exhort you to contend for the faith that was delivered to the saints once for all.
Holy Scripture is Sufficient for determining TRUTH and Apostolic Doctrine:
John 20:31 "Jesus performed many other signs in the presence of His disciples that are not written in this book. But these are written so that you may believe Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and by believing you may have life in His name. "
Hebrews 4:12 "For the word of God is living and effective and sharper than any double-edged sword, penetrating as far as the separation of soul and spirit, joints and marrow. It is able to judge the ideas and thoughts of the heart."
2 John 9:9 "Anyone who does not remain in Christ’s teaching but goes beyond it, does not have God. The one who remains in that teaching, this one has both the Father and the Son. "
