31 ... God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. (Gen. 1:31). 16 And the Lord God commanded [Adam], saying, “You may surely eat of every tree of the garden, 17 but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.” (Gen. 2:16-17) 4 But the serpent said to [Eve], “You will not surely die. 5 For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” 6 So when [Eve] saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was to be desired to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate, and she also gave some to her husband who was with her, and he ate <...>. 13 Then the Lord God said to [Eve], “What is this that you have done?” [Eve] said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.” (Gen. 3:4-6,13). 12 Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all [people] because all sinned (Rom. 5:12).
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Rom. 3:23). as it is written [by God through the Prophets]: “None is righteous, no, not one; 11 no one understands; no one seeks for God. 12 All have turned aside; together they have become worthless; no one does good, not even one.” (Rom 3:10-12). We have all become like one who is unclean, and all our ["]righteous["] deeds are like a polluted (“filthy” NASB) garment (“Rags” NIV). We all fade like a leaf, and our iniquities, like the wind, take us away (Is 64:6). ...each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire[s]. Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin, and sin when it is fully grown brings forth death (Jm. 1:14-15). [Jesus] said, “What comes out of a person is what defiles him. For from within, out of the heart of man, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, coveting, wickedness, deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride, foolishness. All these evil things come from within, and they defile a person.” (Mark 7:20-13). And you were [/are] dead in the trespasses and sins (Eph 2:1). For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord (Rom. 6:23)
18 Therefore, as one trespass led to condemnation for all [people], so one act of righteousness leads to justification and life for all [people]. 19 For as by the one man's disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man's obedience the many will be made righteous. 20 Now the law came in to increase the trespass, but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more, 21 so that, as sin reigned in death, grace also might reign through righteousness leading to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Rom. 5:18-21).
For [Paul] delivered to [me] as of first importance what [Paul] also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures, 5 and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve. <...> 8 Last of all, as to one untimely born, he appeared also to me. 9 For I am the least of the apostles, unworthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. 10 But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain. On the contrary, I worked harder than any of them, though it was not I, but the grace of God that is with me. 11 Whether then it was I or they, so we preach and so you believed (1 Cor 15:3-5,8-11). [Jesus], who was delivered up for our trespasses and raised for our justification (Rom. 4:25). For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God (2 Cor 5:21).
... there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12). Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me (Jn. 14:6). ... if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works; otherwise grace would no longer be grace (Rm. 11:6). For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God (Eph 2:8).
Receive this gift today!
“The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.” (Mark 1:15). [The gospel was]"... declared first to those in Damascus, then in Jerusalem and throughout all the region of Judea, and also to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, performing deeds in keeping with their repentance." (Acts 26:20) For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. 17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, “The righteous shall live by faith.” (Rom. 1:16-17)
Repent of your sin and trust in Jesus Christ today!
because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved (Rom. 10:9-10). 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! 18 All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation (2 Cor 5:17-18)
How then will they call on him [Jesus Christ] in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? 15 And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” 16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed what he has heard from us?” 17 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ (Rom. 10:14-17).
I am sent to preach the gospel! You have heard it, and are without excuse! Repent, believe Jesus Christ, who is Lord God and Savior; and receive God's gift of eternal life and peace with Him forevermore!
