Fire Starter Ireland is a winter festival with the intention to notice and nurture the fire within and without. Running over the last week in January and first week in February, it is perfectly placed to harness the listening, dreaming and visioning imbued in the Winter Solstice season and the early signs of spring and new growth at the beginning of Imbolc - both two significant seasons in the Celtic Calendar. You are invited to avail of this opportunity to fan the flame of creativity and innovation, to ignite the spark of an idea, to cast off the shackles of the norm and to create a conscious and creative space to try things - with the essence and fun of a festival.
The intention of the Firestarter organisers is to illuminate and facilitate a vibrant web of change-makers and innovators to become a flourishing eco-system, across Ireland. The Festival is a platform for people to provide new opportunities, fresh ways of thinking and to bring support, to more people without delay, for the times we live in. In summary, we want to safely ignite and 'spread the fires' of cultural change so as to create conscious transformation with ease and grace.
