When you create an account and use Fire Fling, we collect the following information:

Profile information: gender, age appearance, race/ethnicity, height (inches), weight (pounds)
Calculated data: BMI category based on height and weight
Preferences: gender preferences, race preferences, BMI preferences, height preferences, age range preferences
Location data: your GPS coordinates, collected only while your Ping is active
Profile photo: one optional photo uploaded by you
Usage data: Ping activity, interest list interactions, blocked user list, reports filed
Device information: device type, operating system, for push notification delivery

HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
To display your profile icon on the map to nearby compatible users when your Ping is active
To calculate match compatibility based on mutual preferences
To send push notifications when a compatible match is nearby (if enabled)
To manage your account, subscription, and billing
To enforce our 18+ age requirement and community safety policies
To process reports of inappropriate behavior and enforce suspensions
To improve the App and fix technical issues

LOCATION DATA
Your location is only collected and shared with other users when your Ping is active. When your Ping is turned off, your location is not visible to any other user. We do not store your location history beyond what is needed for real-time matching. Location data is used solely for proximity-based matching within the App.

PROFILE PHOTO
You may optionally upload one profile photo. This photo is visible to other users of the App when they view your profile on the map. You are responsible for ensuring your photo complies with our community guidelines. Photos that violate guidelines may be reported and removed.

DATA SHARING
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not share your data with advertisers. Your data may be shared only in the following limited circumstances:
Apple App Store and Google Play for subscription billing and app delivery
Push notification services (such as Firebase) for delivering match alerts
Law enforcement or regulatory authorities if required by applicable law
In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our assets, with notice to you

DATA RETENTION
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all personal data including your profile, preferences, photos, location data, and account credentials will be permanently deleted within 30 days. Notification records and report records may be retained for up to 90 days for safety and compliance purposes before deletion.

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Fire Fling is strictly for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. All users must confirm they are 18 or older during registration. If we discover that a user is under 18, their account will be immediately terminated and all their data permanently deleted.
