香港地窄人多，住宅緊密群聚，原本對避難逃生就有相當的困難，如果再加上時間的延誤，恐造成難以補救的遺憾。
一般建築物並無安裝自動火警警報系統，對於避難逃生掌握逃生先機非常不利，為此，我們建議安裝「住宅用火警探測器」。

光電煙霧報警器應用紅外線技術來探測煙霧粒子，對無熖悶燃的火感應特別靈敏，能在火災釀成前作出警報。
其設計能減低因炊煙而引起誤鳴的機會，適用於家中較接近廚房的位置或通道。 

Gartec 嘉達光電感煙探測警報器，配置無線數據終端，可無線數據終端互聯，無線互聯距離 : 空曠 80米/ 室外 30米，最多可互聯 20部。

Maintenance [Sep 2021]. Where two or more Stand-Alone Detectors are installed in an enclosed structure, all Stand-Alone Detector
shall be interconnected such that when one of the Stand-Alone Fire Detectors is triggered, all connected Stand-Alone Fire Detectors
Shall sound an alarm simultaneously.
