About the Author

Julian Zhang (张御喆) is an assistant professor of finance at Loyola Marymount University. He considers himself a teaching enthusiast, but may not be so much by his poor students who might get too much attention from him.

Living alone with his beloved cat, which doesn't not necessarily qualifies him a cat-gentleman (although according to reddit, the most suitable male equivalence should be the phrase "lizardman", but that is "way too much", says Julian), he enjoys his spiritual life as a Daoist, as well as a researcher.

His academic interest focuses on Finance, Organization Structure, Urban Economics, and, occasionally, Chinese Philosophy.
